comment

An unusual design of a button with vertical ribs, which has no exact parallel in Moravia. The convexly rounded ribs have the same visual effect as well-known ornaments of Byzantine origin discovered in Bulgaria (Preslav Treasure). These decorative gold pendants, over 3 cm in diameter, further feature enamel decoration on some ribs, lined with filigree beaded wires, and a glass inlay at the lower pole.
